This unique, friendly and entertaining folk festival started as a fund raiser in the village hall in 1991.
Since then, the Festival has grown, but still remains true to its roots. It is organised and run by a group of volunteers dedicated to bringing good music into Priddy and raising money for the village school and other village projects.
It is organised and run by a group of volunteers dedicated to bringing good music into Priddy. It is a “not for profits” organisation with the stated aims of promoting music and arts and improving the environs of Priddy. But it still is a major contributor to the local school respecting its PTA origins. The Festival is now based on and around the historic green in Priddy – the most wonderful setting for a weekend of music.
Whether visiting for the whole festival or just a single day, Priddy Folk Festival is fun for the whole family. Many musicians say they love Priddy festival as it has a unique, friendly atmosphere and is a really entertaining festival for them too!
