Cheshire's largest community Arts festival, Lymm Festival has been run by volunteers for over a decade, and brings together local talent with big names.
The first one having taken place in 1999, the festival origins were rooted in a desire to maintain the village’s identity and foster a sense of community in the face of increasing residential development and local government changes.
The festival has grown over the years, until it now lasts for eleven days and can involve 50 or more events, and it is as true to its original aims as it was when it started.
For 11 days in the summer, this pretty Cheshire village becomes a hive of festivity, with a lively programme of events designed to celebrate the great range of talent and creativity to be found in the community, and to discover and enjoy all that our environment can offer.
From the FoodFest and Street Fun on the first day, to a Fun Run on the 5th July, there will be events to attract all tastes and ages, including almost every sort of music, drama, poetry, comedy, dance and visual art, as well as various outdoor based activities for those who like to get involved with their natural surroundings.
The Festival now hosts a series of Winter Warmer events throughout the coldest months of the year.
We welcome everyone to Lymm Festival - there’s something for all to enjoy!
