AFO members and event wristband provider ID&C has launched its 7th annual Grass Roots Festival Bursary, giving small-to-medium festivals in the UK a chance to receive £2500 worth of security wristbands and credentials.
More than 50 festivals applied for last year’s bursary, which is open to any UK festival that has operated for eight years or less and has an overall attendance of up to 15,000 people.

About the bursary
Since its launch in 2011, ID&C's Grass Roots Bursary has given one lucky festival £2500* worth of security wristbands, lanyards and event passes to help them on their journey as a fledging UK festival.
*£2000 in 2011 and 2012.
Since 2011, over 200 festivals have applied to the Bursary, which is awarded to a festival that supports its local community and strives towards green initiatives.
