Events are able to immediately enter for the Greener Festival Award 2017, provided that they meet the minimum requirement to submit their events Sustainability Policy, and complete the self assessment prior to their event.

Tolpuddle Martyrs' Festival - job opportunity

The Tolpuddle Martyrs’ Festival is a unique event having evolved from a traditional trade union rally into a popular family-friendly weekend of music, politics and other entertainment. The person who organises the music is taking a well-earned Sabbatical after our Festival in July so we're looking for someone who can step in. The work will start from this year’s event through to July 2018.

There’s been a lot going on for Fleetwood Folk & Blues, and we’re well on the way with plans for FaB Weekend this September (1st to 3rd). Meanwhile we have other events afoot. Springsong & Folkfolly We are hosting a weekend of ‘SpringSong & FolkFolly’, 31st March and 1st April presenting some artists who will be performing at FaB Weekend this year. Fleetwood Bowling Club will be the venue for a weekend of 3 events over 2 days.

The group links into COBRA via DCMS. As such, a meeting was held to today to discuss the impact of yesterday’s attack.
